Privacy Policy

Zillmere Same Day Hot Water respects your privacy. This page sets out how we handle personal information collected through this website and when you book hot water work with us, under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information You Give Us

When you ring or send the enquiry form, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, the property address and details about your hot water system, such as its type, age and what it is doing. You choose what to share, and we only ask for what we need to look at the job.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, this one records basic technical details when you visit: the device and browser you use, the pages you view, how you arrived and a general location worked out from your IP address. Calls to the number on this site pass through a call-tracking service, which records the time, length and source of each call.

Why We Hold It

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit, quote and carry out the work, send paperwork and invoices, and check in once the job is done. Technical details help us keep the site running and understand which pages are useful. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing and we never sell it.

Sharing With Service Providers

Some of your information is handled by businesses that help us operate, including our website host, analytics and call-tracking providers, and the software we use for bookings and invoices. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Storage and Security

Records are kept in secure, access-controlled systems for as long as we need them for the job, our obligations after it and legal record-keeping, then deleted or de-identified. No online system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to guard against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Access, Correction and Complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by ringing (07) 3523 1736 or using the enquiry form. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, tell us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Cookies and Analytics

The site uses cookies and similar tools to measure visits and keep the enquiry form working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
